During this session you will learn all that you need to know about the maritime security regime introduced by the Australian Government to help safeguard Australia’s maritime transport system and offshore facilities from terrorism. You will find out what a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) is, as well as important information relevant to you as an MSIC cardholder.

Please be aware that when you complete the application form at the end of this training program you will be required to list a full 10 years of residential address history. You may wish to confirm dates and addresses prior to commencing the training session.

Applicants are to complete this awareness training and online application themselves. Some applicants may be subject to recompleting, if it is apparent that they have not completed this themselves. 

The MSIC online application form has been built to work with most current browsers and mobile operating systems.

Other browsers may work but are unsupported and untested. If you are unable to complete the application online then a hard copy application may be obtained from the Pilbara Ports MSIC offices.
