Pilbara Ports delivered a total monthly throughput of 63.8 million tonnes (Mt) during July 2026.
This was a one per cent decrease compared to July 2025.
The Port of Port Hedland achieved a monthly throughput of 45Mt, of which 44.2Mt was iron ore exports. This was a four per cent decrease compared to July 2025.
Imports through the Port of Port Hedland totalled 250,000 tonnes, an increase of four per cent compared to July 2025.
The Port of Dampier delivered a total throughput of 14.7Mt, a three per cent increase from July 2025.
Imports through the Port of Dampier totalled 115,000 tonnes, resulting in a 17 per cent increase from July 2025.
Several factors influence the fluctuation of throughput, including changes in market conditions, weather conditions, port maintenance operations and customer needs.
