Our Port Development Strategy (PDS) provides a clear vision for strengthening our core business, enabling long-term economic growth and fostering the decarbonisation and diversification of critical minerals and clean energy.
Responding to shifts in global and domestic priorities, the PDS focuses on decarbonisation, the rising demand for critical minerals, emergence of new technologies, and heightened expectations around environmental, social and governance standards, including First Nations empowerment.

The Port Development Guidelines apply to the development and construction of new infrastructure and/or the modification of existing infrastructure within Pilbara Ports port land and waters.
The Port Development Guidelines - Application Guide outlines the process for proponents seeking approval from Pilbara Ports.
The Port Development Guidelines - Technical Standards (appendices) provide detailed performance criteria and minimum standards for developments.
Pilbara Ports uses Aconex to manage development applications. Proponents will be provided with a unique DA reference number and invited to the Aconex project for your development.
Proponents are required to register their organisation on Aconex and create a user account and submit the development application and supporting documentation on Aconex. There is no requirement to complete a paper based form.
